Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026 · Highway 1 Transfers India (Private Limited) — entity TBC
1. About us
Highway 1 Transfers India is a trading name of Highway 1 Transfers India (Private Limited) — entity TBC, an operator of a small private charter passenger service across North India. All bookings are accepted subject to these Terms of Service and any additional written confirmation we provide.
2. The service
We offer pre-booked private passenger transport across North India through our driver network, with our Delhi NCR home base handling most trips originating in Delhi NCR. Pickups are available across Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Bihar, and drop-offs can be anywhere in the region. We are not a rank/hail taxi service — every trip is booked in advance.
We operate All-India Tourist Permit vehicles. All drivers are RTO-compliant and hold a valid commercial driving licence.
3. Bookings, quotes and payment
Fares are quoted at the time of booking based on the distance, vehicle class, and trip details you supply. We do not accept online payment on this website. The fare is paid to the driver directly on pickup, by cash or UPI. Once you confirm the booking, the fare is fixed — we do not apply surcharges, surge pricing, or hidden fees after booking.
If actual pickup or drop-off addresses differ materially from what was booked, or if additional stops are added on the day, we may adjust the fare and will discuss this with you before proceeding.
4. Passenger responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off addresses, flight numbers where relevant, and a contactable phone number.
- Be ready at your pickup location at the booked pickup time.
- Request child seats (infant, capsule, or booster) in advance so we can fit the right vehicle.
- Behave safely and lawfully during the trip and follow reasonable driver instructions regarding seat belts and vehicle care.
5. Luggage
Standard bookings include reasonable luggage for the number of passengers — typically one large suitcase and one carry-on per person. Larger loads (surfboards, oversized boxes, extra bags) must be declared in advance so we can allocate a suitable vehicle.
6. Right to refuse carriage
For the safety of the driver and other passengers, we may refuse or terminate a trip where a passenger is intoxicated, threatening or abusive, in possession of illegal items, or where luggage/passenger numbers exceed the booked vehicle's safe capacity. No refund is payable where a trip is refused or terminated on these grounds.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full on our Cancellation Policy page and are incorporated into these Terms.
8. Delays and events outside our control
While we plan generous buffers into our schedules, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical breakdown, third-party actions, or other events outside our reasonable control. We will always take reasonable steps to complete your trip or arrange an alternative.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a booking is limited to the fare paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 where those rights apply.
10. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the courts of Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from a booking.
